View Full Version : Mike Brown Endorses Ron Grimming for Highlands Sheriff

04-07-2008, 01:33 AM
Word out of the Grimming camp is that former Lt. Michael H. Brown, the Republican nominee for Highlands Sheriff in 2004, has formally endorsed Ron for Sheriff in 2008.

Now that Michael has chosen sides, let the race begin!

Thats good and all but Mike Brown really doesent have any pull around Highlands County anymore. He pretty much shot himself when the old Sheriff and him were buddies.

I like Ron for Sheriff but an endorsement from Mike Brown means absolutely nothing.

I heard someone out of Broward wants to run for sheriff. Apparently this guy is similarly situated as a part-time resident and is getting better known by the day.

Navarro?

I am for Grimming but I will take a look at all candidates especially the one's that have not entered the race yet. We currently have 3 very good candidates so it will be interesting. I think they should have a televised debate on the local channel so the public can have a fair exposure to all candidates.

How old is this??? How come this is back again???

This would only be relivant if Grimming runs again which wont happen because he is a Chief of Police up north. Highlands County really missed out on a good cops cop when they did not vote him into office.
