do our detention officers deserve a well deserve raise?

Hey "Working Cop", although I agree the detention officers deserve whatever they can get, exactly what B.S. from the county do they put up with? Because it's the sworn "Police Officers" who do the JAIL RUNS to the county every day not the detention officers.

FOR SLEEPING IN THE JAIL, ARE YOU KIDDING, THEY SIT AROUND THE JAIL AND WATCH THE COPS DO THE PROCESSING AND THEN CALL FOR 2 UNITS FOR THE JAIL RUN...........AND WHY DO THEY HAVE TAKE HOME CARS?

I miss BOb Settle He was IS a Real cop.
He is /was a true gentalman and a real old school cop

settle was useless. everytime you brought a prisoner he *****ed.

Aren't they covered by our contract? get the same raise we get and take home cars too?? Deserve a good raise, yes, better then PO's, NO!

FYI..THE JAILERS ARE SWORN!!!!THEY WORK JUST AS HARD AS THE COPS DO.THEY DESERVE THE BEST RAISE POSSIBLE!I'M QUITE SURE THAT THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE DOING ALL THE COMPLAINING ARE THE ONES THAT DON'T DO A DAM THING AWAY AND WHEN YOU ARE ASKED TO DO SOMETHING YOU COMPLAIN.THE JAILERS ARE A IMPORTANT PART OF THE DEPARTMENT.IF THEY DIDN'T EXSIST THE COPS JOBS WOULD BE ALOT HARDER.

They are lucky they don't have to Deal with the garbage at DCJ or TJK they have it good now!

I thought everyone should know that at the top end, a PSS makes more than a Detention Officer. They deserve a raise!
