Pinellas County deputies conducted a countywide DUI enforcement wolf pack Friday evening into Saturday morning.

The sheriff's office said the goal of the crackdown was to reduce injuries and to save lives through strict enforcement and public education.

The 30 deputies involved in the detail made 20 arrests on a total of 43 charges, including 10 for DUI. Deputies also issued 118 traffic citations and impounded nine cars.

It must be nice to be able to actually apprehend someone who runs from you! Nice stat that we will never be able to log.

what about when the hobos run from our bike or hobo unit? That's felony open container fleeing and eluding. we need to reform our pd and get rid of the upper brass and dead weight. Dump the Lts and Corporals now. make the Sgt do like they used to. it worked before and we were happy
