The votes for the Detention Sergeants de certification were counted in Tallahassee today by PERC. The Detention Sergeants voted 45 to 10 to give up their rights to collectively bargain. This, however does not preclude Detention Sergeants from being members of the WCFPBA. Retaining your membership stills allows you to have the piece of mind knowing you have Legal Representation in the event you need it. Sergeants, if I or the WCFPBA can be of any assistance feel free to contact us. We at the WCFPBA wish you would have allowed us to continue on with the process.
