12 Hour Shifts

My agency is about to stick it to us and implement 12 hour shifts. Rumor has it that your city once tried to get you guys on 12 hour shifts and your union fought it and won. Is that true or is it just BS. Thank you for any imput.

Yes a study was done on it but did not happen we are still on 4/10
