New contract details

Can anyone post the results of your new contract? I.e. new starting pay, the step plan, etc.

What equipment does the department issue you?
Also when is your next set of oral boards?
About how long is your hiring process?

I can answer two of the questions; Starting pay- for patrol is just about equal to the same a 10yr veteran in patrol is making. No step plan raises. Starting pay always goes up every 5yrs or so to make it look like the job has competitive pay, but it is a gimmic to attract new hires.

OK I know the pay sucks, tell me something I dont know. I'm probably still going to apply to usf. 38k isnt that bad, Im with FWC making 31k so anything is better. What are the increases every 5 years? Or are you saying they redo the contract every 5 yrs.
