PBA Contract

The University does not want to honor PBA contract
Unfair Practice!!!!!

We will never get good contract. We all have to get together and stand up to the University. I think, since the University does not think we do enough to get a better contract, then we should go into NO TOLERANCE MODE!! and show them that we do our job. Stroke them all!!!

The University will never respect the Officers because the CHIEF doesn't. Maybe the officers should join the Basketball Team since the CHIEF is always at every FIU Game supporting the players but not his Police Officers.

All we r asking is for take home, step plan, raise, mutual aide, and more OT.

Yea.. Nice people in FIU.. We should put you on foot patrol at the UPA with just a key ring.. and MW's radio. Go to building C and hang by the tables there.. I say put you there from 6pm till midnight. You'll be scared, so I guess we could supply you with a flashlight...

I understand you feel that we are overpaid for opening doors. Thats the problem we don't feel like Police Officer's should be doing that. Thats a job for a security officer or PST not a Police Officer.

YES, u are alright but the everybody needs to be on the same page north and south. The north needs to STOP being so COP and more police oriented. They need to stop picking up every DOG they see, and giving everybody a ride.

We need to stick together the some in the University thinks are life’s are worthless . The university just spent 250000 dollars on phone in class rooms. We asked to go to the county radio system at the most it will be 250000 but they don’t have the money. The radio system has many problems several news stories have been done on it and we are still using it. An article in Monday’s paper on football stadium said they what to put another 25000 seats in the stadium and then build Main Street like the one in Miami Lakes. Don’t take this the wrong why I hope that happens but are station is falling down and patrol is in a trailer. All the Admn talks about is be professional when we do not look professional with Mickey Mouse radio and Sanford and Son Police Station

Labor needs to stop taking shots at each other. We are family the only way to get a head is to stick together. Remember the management wants us to fight that way it keeps the heat off of them. The university does not want to give you the basic rights that all other state university police have in Florida. Some times we maybe dysfunctional but still a family.

agree with brother blue. we're getting off topic here...the enemy is the University and Department Administration.
