Try not to be discouraged by the posts on this site. This is a good job . If you want to kick down doors, make high profile arrests, and seize pounds of dope this is not the place for you. However, if you want to have a respectable job this agency is a good place. You will do a lot of regulatory duties and the beverage & tobacco statutes are mostly misdeanors. The region you are assigned makes a difference in the type of work you will do. The needs in Pensacola are different than those in Miami. Should you get an interview be confident, not ****y. Be sincere and take copies of any atta boy or girl letters yu may received, one for each member of the interview panel.
Again, don't let this site dicourage you. Hopefully you're smart enough to see through the hateful, hurtful things said here. Good luck.
I am thinking of applying with ABT. I wanted to work out of Miami office. Can anyone tell me if I could apply only to that office or do I go into a pool for the whole state? Only ask because of family reasons have to stay in Miami for now. Thanks for any info

Generally speaking, applications are not taken unless there is a position to fill. You will need to monitor the job search page at myflorida.com. Available positions will be advertised there and you can apply online. You can apply for a specific office.
any contact info (or link) for a person who is in charge of recruiting/HR?
