View Full Version : OJ assistance

I heard some disturbing news that on New Years Eve an off-duty officer from a neighbor agency attempted to assist one of our officers during a s/36 downtown. This officer identified himself as a LEO and was pushed aside and disrespected by some of our officers. We need to stand together as a brotherhood and thank our OJ assistance not treat them like scum on the street.

more like a highly intoxicated off duty officer came behind another officer and slapped him on the back. when the officer confronted him. the lhpd officer stated with a slurred speech... what! no love for a 10-37... that officer was already dealing with two drunk guys fighting, he didn't need to deal with another one. he told him to get lost. the off duty officer was not providing assistance, he was part of the problem. trust me the flpd officer has more respect than other agency cops than I do...

to add to that... the captain and two other flpd officers told him to leave as well because he was drunk.
