Changes at the PD

Just wondering. What's everyone think about the forthcoming changes?

Wait until January 29th. If the voters vote for the drastic cut in taxes, then I'll bet you 10 to 1 that the City of North Port will fold and will cease to exist, along with a lot of other cities who aren't financially strong. Vote NO on January 29!!! Spread the word!!!!

Well I haven't seen any North Port PD squad car cam videos in the news lately, so it must be either a retirement or going to a better job.

Guess I will take the bait and ask, who is takng their money and running before the house of cards comes falling down?

2 Lt's will be coming off the road and working Admin duties inside the PD.

2 Lt's will stay on the road, one in Dist 1 and one in Dist 2.....

Wow now we all know so the rumors can finalyy stop. There is nothing more to it so let's end this crap!

Uh, Lieutenants are supposed to be squad/shift commanders, which means as administrators they SHOULD be in the station most of the time, with the occasional patrol every now and again. Of course, that all depends on how busy the shift is, how many patrol officers are on, etc. :)
