Who is on top of the list?

LoL. Hmmm I wonder if this person is from outside the agency...

Promotions? The test is simple. Contribute the maximum to the Sheriff's campaign.

Mcnesby's ideal person to promote this election year is the top $ contributing black female family member who is capable of drawing a vacuum on a chain link fence. She would have all bases covered.

Since we don't have one person who meets all of these criteria each candidate must fit at least one. Most of the names touted so far fit at least two.

Please notice that training, experience and competence are found nowhere in the Mcnesby equation.

It is a shame that politics trumps pragmatism, but on the chance that someone may be promoted on merit who would that be? Is a new test coming before the promotions? Who is at the top of the list? All are good questions.........

Who is at the top of the list?

The fact that you even ask this question indicates you are not on the list and probably don't work at the SO. Nonetheless, here's some info.

The real list is alphabetical. There is alleged to be a special list assembled by a few captains and cronies which the sheriff glances over. The sheriff scratches through names he doesn't want or tosses the list if it doesn't contain names he wants. The cronies know who the sheriff wants so the latter rarely occurs.

Current promotions are on hold until the latest campaign reports are published. Foolish it is to promote a rival's supporters, you know.

The current list expires soon and a potentially lengthy argument lies ahead with PBA over the promotional process. The sheriff needs to promote soon or be prepared to deal.

Tick Tock......what will he do?

The answer you seek in purely speculative at best so why ask for names? The sheriff will promote whomever he wants and that is that. It doesn't matter who is better qualified or who has more experience or who could do the job better. Get it yet?

I think your about to find out. Like most you will not be impressed!

01-22-2008, 04:31 PM
When do I find out?

01-23-2008, 02:59 AM
If you worked at the SO you would already know. If you were a candidate with any supporters at the SO you would already know. If you were John Q. Citizen you wouldn't know who the people were if they were listed. Why don't you know?

i'm impressed with some of them

I'm not impressed with more of them.
