How about black windbreakers, with a nice badge and FHP on it.

How about getting rid of the chain on the shirt! It is useless, keep a spare key in your pocket.

Have you ever seen the other uniforms without a chain. Yes it is useless, but it brings out the uniform. Appearance is what being a trooper is about. Not looking like a city cop or deputy. But I do like the black windbreakers, as long as they are not the cheap fading in a week kind.

Oh yes appearance is what this job is about...to hell with anything that is actually useful and makes sense. Give me a break. This moronic agency and the people that work here need to wake up and stop caring so much about appearance and care about doing a good job of LE.

if they are SERIOUS about image... then somone PLEASE tell why that most FHP officers's pants are almost dragging the ground ?, and why do we have such C H E A P material in making our uniforms ? IF it was REALLY about image.. we would have pants that fit ( correct size and length), and we would have shirts that you cannot read a paper through.

For a premier agency... we look like crap. Thera are a few that look good but not many that I have seen lately.

can we ever get rid of the v- neck t shirt ?

You want a white target across your upper torso around your neck? Do away with the V neck and you get just that. Look at LAPD uniform officers. Black shirts, white high neck t shirts. You think brown is lighter?

I agree the black under shirt is better looking. But you have people up there that were trained eons ago and thats the way they like it.
