Suggestions?

In my opinion we should not hold any special enforcement details unless the zones area adequetly covered. (ex. taking people off the road for seatbelt enforcement , meanwhile they are holding S4's etc.)

Shove the lame details and give us all unmarked cars if you want to see some real activity.

Perhaps what the citizens would like is a detail where they don't have to wait 30 minutes for a trooper to help them because all are out writing seat belt and other tickets.

Umm what? You obviously aren't a trooper. Do you really think it takes 30 minutes for us to reach the citizen because we are holding calls while we write tickets? Heck no! It takes 30 minutes because there are about 3 of us on the road and the closest unit is 20 miles from you.

You must be from OZ or GHQ. FHP is not even doing the basics as it relates to working crashes and proactive enforcement. The sheriff offices are working more and more crashes becasue they are under pressure from its citizens that have to wait for hours.

FHP use to be #1 when it came to traffic crash investigation, not anymore. The sheriff offices are taking over...

Here is a suggestion: lets try to stick to the basics for one year. Do away with all the B.S. speciality positions and put everyone back on the road. Then, maybe we can do selective enforcement. Until than, we need to stick to the 3 basics....1. Courtesy 2. Service 3. Protection. Right now, we are only doing #1. Numbers 2 and 3 have been off the radar for a long time.

The Sheriff's Offices maybe working more crashes now, but that is because there are less and less troopers out working due to the pay issue.
