Did we ever find out why the Trooper at the Academy can drive from Franklin County every day in violation of the 30 mile rule and earn overtime while he does it?? Or is it just because his leader is to worried about making Lt. Colonel?? Someone should look into this or the rest of the State should be able to break the rules too!! Sorry Stone, you look good in your hat!!

As long as he/she claims it as soar and of course follows the established guidelines then there should be no policy conflict. If however ot is earned as a result of living beyond the 30 mile rule then that policy violation without question needs to be investigated. Addtionally, I believe it would be in violation of the statement on the bottom of the weekly. Extra hours need to explained. A weekly of course is public record.

When are you people going to realize that any given policy applies only to those that they want it too? It's been that way for years and it will stay that way as long as the colonel, whoever it may be at the time, only cares about what's beneficial to himself.

yep, you hit the nail on the head SELECTIVE ENFORCEMENT. It's funny how they enforce some policies on some and not others on others, and then no policies on others. I know it sounds complicated, but what's good for the goose, is not good for the gander. Just to go back to so many other posts, if you havn't figured it out by now, if you are liked by Tallahassee, or your local management, you have carte blanche. If you are liked by tallahassee and not your local managemtent, you still have carte blanche, if you are not liked by tallahassee but liked by local managemtent, you'll do well locally, but never go anywhere. and last but not least, if you are hated by tallahassee as well as local managemt, you're done. you couldn't do anything right. just sit down, shut up, and do you job.

Selective Enforcement is what it's all about. Get used to it, oh and by the way, they don't want to hear, but so and so did the same thing? Too bad, you have to worry about yourself and yourself only.
