Any agencies with canal sytems and use side scan sonar. Intersted how good it works in such a closed area. Is it worth purchasing?

There is no depth restriction with side scan technology. The sonar will paint an image from side to side in narrow canals and you will be able to identify objects the size of a cinder block, all while travelling at 3+ mph. Well worth the investment. Marinesonic.com
