Application

Hi. I was wondering if you can provide me with information regarding the application process. I applied, took and passed the test but I miss the orientation on Tuesday. (my job didnt give me the day off) Im wondering if I now have to wait a year to apply again? I read I have to wait six months to retake the test. Any info you can provide me with will be appriciated.

I would call in at the number they put in the paper they sent you, but depending on the person on the other side of the phone they will either reschedule you or tell you to wait the six months. Didn't the sheet say to call in advance if you couldn't make the appointment? Doesn't hurt to call...

I called and told them I was not going to make it to the orientation. The woman who I spoke to told me I have to wait a whole year to re-apply. So Im not sure who is right the information on the website or the woman on the phone??? On the website it says I have to wait six months to take the test again but doesn't say anything about re-applying for the PD.

I agree with grouper...it's better that you come in and show face that way you tell your side, show that you are truly intrested in the position and possibly have your application reopened.

Dont listen to these guys. If you missed your orientation you are pretty much done. Do what you are told and reapply, I do believe you have to wait a year to do so.
