My wife and I were debating on moving to Murphy, NC, but after careful research and a Google search about the issues there, it sounds to me Cherokee county has some serious issues with its government. I have read from health department issues with septics tank permits, to public safety issues with 911 hirings, to commissioner problems, and even the sheriff sounds like he has big problems. Not the cosy type community we had in mind.
I will pass on it and settle down elsewhere. Pretty sure someone will write something nasty about my post. Thats okay, you people sound down right evil to the core by what I read.
