I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the status of the retro money for those who have retired or left the department prior to the last contract.

yes...please shed some light on this issue.I hear some civilians are filing law suits. I also hear the city manager and some commisisioners refused to include the retirees on the retro pay....it sucks...It's not one's fault that a contractual agreement could not be decided because everyone was sucking their thumbs and refused to make a decision...some people had no choice but to leave...apparently they reached their drop date and had to leave...I hope they (me included) can win this *&* and get their (my) money that is owed......

WHAT CAN THE FOP DO OR HAS DONE IN REGARDS TO THIS ISSUE? I THINK MR. J. VALLADARES OR MS. LOWE (IN PAYROLL) CAN GIVE US THE SKINNY.

There will be no more retro for retirees. What do u guys think? That u can leave and continue to benefit? Hasta cuando acere?
The only retro will come in April after the pension is stabalized and only for those of us still here.
