How many times does a patrol vehicle have to go into fleet for the same repair before it is fixed?

This will be the fourth time for me, why? I guess the lemon law does not go with us!

Depends on the rank of the deputy bringing it to the shop.

The number approaches infinity. The problem may never be fixed.

Take the time to write down exactly whats wrong. Including sounds, feeling from the vehicle, and anything else you can articulate.

I had my car in for repair, it was taken to an outside source and "fixed". When the shop foreman got it back, it was still messed up and he took back to the shop and had it fixed. He did this on his own and without thinking twice about it.

That says a lot. He could have just stuck it back in the yard and told me it was fixed.

The shop aint that bad. Oh yeah, and it is light years ahead of where it used to be.

You should take the time to really feel what the car feels. It's not just a machine. It will treat you as well as you treat it. A whise man takes instruction and the foolish hate rebuke. There is a way that seems right to a man but it leads to darkness and suffering.

My car is a minority...meaning that there aren't many like it anymore. It's a junker.

If Hillary gets elected she'll make sure you car has health care, and angry Joe gets counseling.

Maybe they can issue you an SUV with 100,000 mile on it, and then refuse to issue you a new one even though the tire sounds as if it is about to fall off. Then they will put an alarm on it so they can waiste more money on the already POS. Maybe someday fleet will put the money where it needs to be...keeping us safe with cars that don't have bearings falling out. Sean has his own agenda...no other way to put it.

Agreed, be glad we don't have pool vehicles. Don't have to clean out the previous drivers chew cups and snot rags.
