It never fails. If there isn't an issue to unite us and write about on this blog we always revert to the old standby. That is gnawing away at ourselves by writing hurtful and damaging untruthful posts about each other. Is anyone interested in cleaning up the posts? The continuation of these personal attacks is detrimental to all parties concerned. Please friends, let's make a concerted effort to make this forum an asset and not self portray ourselves as a bunch of hoodlums.

Thank you....u need to make time. Anytime someone bashes and degrades another member (or family members) is just letting outsiders know that there is no unity in the Dept. The negative writing and comments just gives other depts and observers to see the type of image this dept portrays...a negative, malicious, and divided one...therefore, if we can stick to the more positive side of things, just maybe people can respect ust a little bit more/.......

I realize the error of my ways and plead to the forum for leniency. I will make an attempt to be kind in my future posts. It is so easy to get caught up in the negativism that pervades the culture of our department and police work in general. It takes a lot of self control and positive self image to step up and lead by example. I am guilty as H E double toothpicks and when all is said and done I do not feel good about ingratiating myself at the cost of others. A new day is dawning.
