You will be getting the 3 at the end of the month. You will also fall under the new step system. For most officers this will be a positive. The only years that are adversely affected are 21,22, 23, and 24. Those that benefit most are 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, and 14. Those that fall under that step will get an additional 7.5 for a total 10.5. If you want to see where you fall under the new step system see me (CG WTF ?B? shift) or post your year here and ill reply with the percentage difference.

Scarola says he hopes to get the adjustment finalized by Feburary, but remember nothing is set in stone. When that occurs we will get the rest of the 6 and the year 8 and 9 steps (formally the 5% kicker). So, as long as you are past your 9th year, you will get an additional 8% (3+5).

A 13 year guy (or gal) under the new step system gets 7.5% more. That, plus the 3 give you a total of 10.5 as of yesterday. Once they complete the adjustment you will get an additional 8% for a total of 18.5%.

it depends on if you have your 10 year 5% step yet.
If not, you will get a 3% contract raise with 7.5% more in step adjustments. (Total of 10.5%)
If you?ve got the 10 year 5% step already, you will get 3% contract raise and 2.5% in step adjustments. (Total of 5.5%)

Today was the first day we are under the new payscale. This was the first full pay period in October. So we should see the new payscale on the Nov 2nd check, but I wouldn?t be shocked if they are late.
