For the life of me I can't understand how the city of Hialeah gets ANYONE to apply there in the first place. Lowest pay....no take homes....no benefits....whats turning into a lousy retirement plan (most depts. are getting 80% and more after 25 years.
From day one out of the academy you FTO's should be telling the rookies that they should be looking elsewhere if they intend to make law enforcement a career. If they can't find candidates and they fall below state standards they may have to merge with the county and wouldn't that be terrible.
