Guys, since I've only been around for a couple years, I gotta ask if the crime rate is really down in Lauderdale or are the numbers being manipulated similar was done over a the Sheriffs Office?
The city put out a newletter to residents that shows a reduction, but how could that happen. I heard some guys sayn that FLPD use to make a ton of arrests just a few years back, like twice as many as being done now. The arrest log at the jail last year was like 9 or 10 thousand for the year if I recall correctly. What was it a few years ago, nybody know? If it was double, smells bad.
Who makes all the arrests? All the shifts run bare bones. Bunch of guys hired with me arnt even here anymore. Those left r just gettn by. Morale, what is that? Evrybdy just runs from one robbery to the next, alert tones all night, few arrests.
