If you took the time to ask I would have told you the reasoning for voting against the no confidence vote. Come see me and I?ll fill you in as to why I think the timing is bad. Keep in mind, the vote was 7-3. Two other board members felt the same way as I did. That being said, I will stand by the decision of the membership and will work as hard as I have done on all previous votes. The union is strong only when we work as a single unit to make a change. That is what is happening now. I encourage every member to vote on September 4th. If you can not vote in person on that day, contact myself or another member of the executive board and we will provide an absentee ballot. If you have any questions I will be attending various roll calls next week or you can pay me a visit in my office on the second floor of the NDSS.

That?s a good question.
I haven?t decided if I will run again but I have no desire to hold an office that makes me stop doing police work. I?m not done kicking in doors and I don?t want to be assigned to the FOP hall.

The question is who will take up the leadership roles? Where we stand now, maybe 20-25 members are even eligible to run for office.

If you are thinking of running now is the time to start attending meetings.

That vote meant nothing, the general meeting vote was the one that counted, and by the way, i think i only heard two na's. 99. 8%. And i say that the final vote will be probally 80 or 90 % against

He owes them big time, just remember what happened about two years ago when 5 or 6 ballsy officers (which BTW included a female) voted for a vote of no confidence.
