If they do make sure they have a ton of parts on hand.The guys at the garage will be working a ton of overtime also to keep the Wimpalas running.

did you do a study and figure out it was the rookies? cause i was at fleet the other day and a couple of vets were there getting spares cause theirs were crashed

Wouldn't it make more sense giving the oldest cars in the fleet to rookies instead if giving them brand new 08's?

Most of the rookies never drove anything bigger then a ricer.They would be better off just buying used patrol cars [for rookies only] instead of putting them in brand new CVPI's.

They should issue the Impalas to all the Sgts and Lts. They don't need Crown Vic's. That's what the Beach is doing.

I still do not understand why ROOKIES get BRAND NEW 08 CVPI's. Every one here knows a CVPI will last 10 years if properly taken care of so why destroy it so quickly.

There is enough older C.V's around South Florida we can get for them to destroy since we all use them.
