Dennis you were the best and you cleaned up every district you worked. You said No to Jenne and Powertrac. You are my hero. Creamer for Sheriff.
For the honest, hard working employees of the Broward Sheriff's Office, Dennis Creamer would be a dream come true. For many in the administration he would be a nightmare. He is has a unique historical knowledge of the agency and would be able to weed out the former Colonial C's cronies and Lt. Colonial B's cronies.

Hey Spellcheck One, back at you, what is a GOVENOR??? And thanks for posting Governor Crist's address again so everyone can put in a good word for Sheriff Creamer. OOPS I already put him in office, must be a sign....
Actually, the error was deliberate. Did you notice that none of the other individuals posting noticed the mistake? By the way, the e-mail address is real. Besides the Governor, one can also contact George Lemieux as Chief of Staff to place recommendations. His e-mail address is George@CharlieCrist.com. The Charlie Crist domain is a private domain not subject to section 119, Florida Statute. If one were to e-mail the Governor through the state website, said e-mail could be released to the public.
With that said, Goldberg has support in Tallahassee. I will admit that Goldberg can only win in 2008 if he is appointed early and has an opportunity to prove himself. An incumbent always has a better chance at winning no matter the situation. My bet is on Goldberg for Sheriff. On the off chance that Danny G. does not get the job, it will go to Lamberti who also has support.

Rumor has Gov Crist appointing his inside man in tallahassee if KJ goes. Many here in Broward feel Dennis Creamer is really the best man for the job.

It has been easked before and no one has layed it out. Besides working short stints at micro departments like Pembroke Park and old time Seminole, what has he done other than leave the area and put his relatives and cronies in charge of keeping his name out there??? You might as well talk about Joey Baggadonutz, no one knows him either.
We all know Dennis Creamer and his reputation as a squared away cop's cop. Those of us that know him and have worked with him will go battle or go through the door with him any time.
CREAMER FOR SHERIFF -= YOU KNOW HIM YOU TRUST HIM. And if not you were in middle school when we were in the middle of it and take it from those who have paid their dues.

I agree, Creamer's the one for me. If you people are serious about Creamer someone with some juice has got to get to the Gov. He was the first to recognize what Jenne, Carney and Brennan were doing. He left because he wanted no part of STAT manipulation in Powertrac.

If that is what qualifies you to run for Sheriff, check Duggers and Friels District 7 crime stats during PowerTrip. They were within the national average every session and were reprimanded for being honest. They like Creamer would not stand for manipulation of the truth.
I think we can agree on one thing a lot of good people got hurt by tis administration. I just hope thatif the Sheriff goes down to do the Toms and their underlings

Creamer is the best man for the job!!!! We r a full service Dept now and Creamer has the police and fire background. This is the kind of Sherriff we need!

Actually Creamer is known by many and Soule has republican party ties and scored 4th out of 13 for Sheriff in 2005. Soule did not say he would run. I hear Creamer would.

Creamer? Wasn't that the Chief who turned tail and ran when he got a few powertrash sessions under his belt? Did he find out he actually had to go to work and be accountable? You better be prepared to tell the voting public that just because he couldn't handle the rigors of powertrac doesn't mean he isn't going to be a great sheriff and stay when the going gets rough because you know the competition IS going to bring it up. Was it the administrative paperwork? Was it the humiliation? Quitting and running from either was not a great solution for someone who might even be thinking about the role of sheriff. If he couldn't handle that - and abandoned all of you - good friends and supporters - what's he going to do as sheriff? Does he even live in Broward? You may see his actions as heroic but that's a warped perception.
As for the people named earlier, Butterworth, Stack, etc. all had community ties and name recognition BEFORE they ran for sheriff. Dennis Who? -is not well known. There are probably 3,000 people in BSO who have never heard of him until his name appeared on this site. Is he a nice guy? Definitely. And I have heard Butterworth referred to as Butterballs when he was Sheriff.

When we started Powertrac he told us we would work hard to improve the stats, BUT, that the stats were the stats. As a result of his not wanting to play the stat game in Powertrac he got hammered, but he never let it filter down to us, he kept it to himself. When his time to retire came, he retired. If that is your definition of leaving us and running away, you are warped. I have kept in touch with him and know that after BSO he taught at the Academy and writes promotional exams for various PDs, trust me he is well known throughout the County.

I've met both Creamer and Lamberti. They both seem like fine men. I hope whomever gets the job has the stomach to rip the guts out of the current administration. Heads must roll. All of those politically expedient promotions and promotions earned on their knees or bent over need to go.
I think they need to send everybody back to the last rank they TESTED for. And even then, they need to be reviewed and interviewed again. I think heads will roll, that's why they're all upset upstairs. They need to start updating those resumes.

Much as I like the guy, at one point of working for him, and knowing I did my job to the letter....he actually believed the false ramblings of a "known" troublemaker over my qualifications and performance in a certain situation many years ago. Not sure if I can fall in line with someone that would take the word of a wannabe over one that actually delivered the goods!

But the truth is its hard for you to get out of bed. Thats so sad dude. You really should just pay more attention to your health and you grandkids and get out of the past old man. I didn't write to post you quote above, but that is creative and funny. Just got back from the park, still like to swing. Not living in the past but if you don't take heed to the past you are destined to repeat it. So, I take it you loved Ken Jenny and probably still write him little notes to follow up on your e-mail after his departure and now want someone like him - lots of those democrats to choose from.
And by the way, Creamer is way more squared away than some command you work for now - and Lamberti will be an excellent Sheriif. Wish you luck there zip code CCN, soon you will be able to buy your own gun in case you ever work a district where a patrol rifle will be beneficial.
