Say a prayer for these officers and their families.

I see no reason why police can't carry fully automatic weapons and completely spray a car down when such a situation happens. Why do we as police officers always have to be outgunned? I guess the citizens and government like to see us get hurt.

Cops and their agencies have become reluctant to do their jobs anymore, because every time a officer tries to protect himself these days and gets the upper hand on a ciminal or the situation, the officer gets blasted for excessive force or any other political opinion by the public. This leads to more officers getting shot and killed out of fear of public opinion. Seems to get worse every day and this profession and leaders need to start standing up for their officers.

There are no leaders in Law Enforcement! There are individuals climbing the promotion ladder taking care of themselves. Our government is a disgrace from the local level all the way up to the Feds. WHITE COLLAR CRIME PAYS !!!!!!!! Remember that you are on your own out here. Maybe a good zone partner can help you out a little but you need to use extra caution at all times. I get laughed at when I practice basic officer safety on routhine calls. Just because you haven't been shot at or attacked in your 15/20/25 years of experience does NOT mean you won't be attacked tomorrow. BE SAFE MY BROTHERS !!!!!
