After submitting your initial application about how long does it take typically to be contacted back regarding your oral board?

GO TO TAMPA PD, GO VERY QUICKLY.

You should hear something within a couple of weeks. if not, you might wanna give em' a call to make sure they have everything they need.

I called HR and they have everything that they need with all of my references returned. It seemed that they are extremely short handed and busy in there. They said the application is open and active, so I am guessing that means everything is where it needs to be.

I heard from friends that there will be hiring’s coming up in the next few months.

Yes there will more applicants hired soon. I know we still have several open positions. The sheriff has requested more new positions from the county and if approved, HR usually fills them in late September. Hang in there. These things can take some time.

Why the hell would you wanna work for Pasco....I'm sure you'll get your 2yrs and transfer out like the rest of the rookies....
