So whats the deal, you guys have a hiring freeze or what? If so, for how long?

Long ago when I applied to become a police officer, my background investigator made me tell him three recent events that were in the news.

Your statement about wondering whats going on tells me your not the sharpest tool in the shed. The City of Tampa has been hiring new police officers for over 10 years. With the Florida Legislature passing on the tax relief to the state, the City will cut their budget and has placed a hiring freeze back in April.

I would suggest you read a paper or watch some TV. Hope this answers your question.
