Funeral Escort Services

I see a need for funeral escort services in Pinellas County. But want to know the LEO's take on such a service. Any legality issues that you can think of? Service would be high end, professional, not fly by night wanna be cops kind of thing. Just wondering before I spend the time researching this further. Thanks.

problem with pinellas county is that it is super high traffic and heavily congested. to stop traffic for every funeral would cause traffic jams and subsequently traffic accidents.

We're not talking about every funeral out there - and state statute enables priority of a funeral procession regardless of traffic flow - but no one wants more traffic accidents - question is does anyone forsee any legal issues?

I don't think there is much of a need, funeral homes contact FHP or local law enforcement and contract or request an escort, I've done some. It's very easy for a funeral home to get an escort from law enfoecement and it's done on large funerals.
