BRING BACK THE IN SERVICE FITNESS TESTING, SOME OF YOU DEPUTIES ARE EMBARRASSING TO LOOK AT. SOME SUPERVISORS WORRY ABOUT HOW WELL YOUR UNIFORM IS INTACT, BUT THEY GOT SOME NERVE WITH THEIR PHYSICAL APPEARANCE. LEAD BY EXAMPLE. How bout we do what other departments do around the State. We offer 2 hours per pay period for our Deputies to wok out. Sgt. Prescott and Cpl. Simm seem willing to help. They monitor the weight rooms and those Deputies that show up get paid those who don't get nothing.........oh what was I thinking, that would help them actually accomplish something they have been complaining about and cost them money........silly me. The fitness test didn't do anything but p*ss people off. Make it worth their time and some will show.

I say we fire the fat overweight cops. Have you ever seen an overweght runway model or playmate?No, because its not suitable for that profession. If someone is breaking into my house or kidnapping my child, I hope some fat donut eating cop doesnt show up and pass out while "in pursuit". I think the state needs to implement a mandatory P.A.T. If you cant pass it, go to Burger King or Krispy Kreme where its accepted. Unfortunately,our lives depend upon someone thats had a few months of training and (God help us) totes a gun. The last thing we need is Fat Albert showing up trying to save the day with a donut and a 44oz free refilled coke in the other.
