Gangsters pose as Jehovah's Witnesses to case neighborhoods
A home invasion robbery in which the robbers posed as Jehovah's Witnesses is the sixth incident to be linked to the BIB -- or "Back in Business" -- gang. They carry around Bibles and pass themselves off as 'Bible thumpers' in order to case neighborhoods.
According to a CCSO report, BIB gang members went to a house carrying Bibles. When the resident asked what they were doing, the report said, the alleged robbers told him they were Jehovah's Witnesses. They used a stun gun on the resident, tied up his feet with an extension cord and his hands with a cell phone charger cord, then threatened to kill him if he moved. The robbers took cash and electronics from the house.
The BIB gang was also involved in a home invasion in which a woman was shot and killed...
