I'm looking for a guy, last name is Shields. We served together in the Army. We both got out, I took a job with Collier SO and he said he was going to Sarasota SO when his time was up because he had worked and lived there before. Just wondering if he is around and how I would contact him if he is.

I heard he quit and bought a 5th wheel to travel the country!

I heard the same thing. Try contacting Dep Krantz at CCSO. They were good friends at the jail.

Thanks for the help guys. Which CCSO are you referring to? There are four of them I can think of, including mine (which is Collier). That's funny cause it happens to us all the time with the CCSO acronym. God forbid you have the same name as another guy in another CCSO, then you get their mail. I've seen it happen here.

Down in these parts, CCSO means Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. :)

ok, I kind of figured you meant Charlotte. but, here at this CCSO it could unfortunately mean Clay, Citrus, Collier, or Charlotte. Depending on who you are trying to confuse.

Thanks for setting me straight. You guys take care up there and be safe.
