Agency questions

What is your take home policy as far as out of county (they charge a fee per mile outside of the county?). I heard that o/t is scarse for newer officers. True? Thanks,,,,,

Well, if no one else is going to chime in....the policy is there isn't one...no one is permitted to take their cars outside the county....members that reside in adjoining counties have to leave the cars in the county and drive POV's.....that's it.

That's accurate info for deps, but the selected few based on ???? do get to take their vehicles home, which of course, is in another county.

We are allowed to let them idle in our driveways during our days off though so the computers stay cool. It cost a little in gas, but it is better than the SO paying for GAP insurance.
