The CPO flu

They are calling for a concerted "blue flu" day. For those of us that are ill, wish them well and a speedy return to work on 5/14/07. For those that don't feel comfortable with the trooper's idea, there is always "field ROD" (rest of day).

It could be a pay day Friday ghost town.

Having been employed with the Florida Highway Patrol for over 20 years, I should be use to being bent over and having sand packet up my A.S.S. by the legislature every year. (From the movie a Few Good Men) We are the butt off the jokes at the legislater's ****tail parties. It is now time to let our feelings known. Knight worked his butt off to try to help us, there is no ill feeling towards him. Carmen Electra just keeps spending the tax payer's money buy bringing new people to speciality positions to micro manage and ride us and create new paperwork for the department. Carmen never worked the road, she was a paper pusher for Sarasota Sheriff's Office and FDLE, she has no idea what are job is about and how to help the public other than to step on low paid TROOPERS for going over and beyond thier duty, because thier picking up the slack for everyone leaving. LEAVE THE FEW TROOPERS YOU HAVE LEFT ALONE, CARMEN KISS THIER A.S.S.E.S. then trying to micro manage them. This statement is to new TROOPERS the pay is never going to change, find another job, that pays you what you want, don't stick around hoping it won't change. You get screawed every year by the legislature and it doesn't change. They know that we are only a small portion of votes and it won't effect thier jobs, so there is no advantage to them to give us a pay raise. They pass the money to there voter's for meaning less projects, studies, baseball stadiums to help the private sector to profit and other useless projects. We were asked this year not to issue any tickets to legislators because they vote on your pay raise. Well they insulted us and I say screaw them, write them and tell them how much you liked there support in pay raises. TO THE TROOPER'S WHO WRITE OTHER LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THERE FAMILIES PLEASE STOP AND JUST WRITE LEGISLATOR AND THERE FAMILIES. WE NEED TO GET RENEW OUR RELATIONSHIPS WITH ALL LAW ENFORCEMENT IN FLORIDA. Stop pissing other departments off and get a long. With the tax cut now in this state we all have to work together. Trooper are know better than anyone else and people with our department who think so better look again, we are all the same, we were all dumb enough to do this job. The last thing I have to say is May 11th, 2007, I feel sick and I think there is something spreading that is effecting others. I'm just not saying FHP members be sick, but other departments too. Show the state, what you think of how they are treating us and cutting money to counties.
FEEL SICK, YOU MIGHT FEEL BETTER. IN KNOW WAY IS THIS A STRIKE THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW. OUTBREAKS HAPPEN............

Im with you! May 11th it is. Screw this state and their shizzat ways. Everyone call 303 on May 11th. Get together with your friends, family, or just enjoy a nice day outside and not working for this shizzat state. It is time we take a stand.

5-11-07 GET IT OUT TO ALL DEPARTMENTS SPREAD THE WORD TO THE MEDIA. LETS MAKE THIER SPECIAL SESSION FOR TAX STEALING OUR SESSION FOR GIVING. THE MONEYS THERE LET GET THEM TO DISH IT OUT! 5-11-07 SHOW THEM IT TIME, NO MORE TALKING. RADIO SILENCE ACROSS THE STATE.

I'm out( May 11th). How about everyone else. Let the sup's run the Circuit for the whole day- no intake, no field contact, no phone calls! DO IT!!

And just what makes you think the sup's, the DCA's, CA's, DRD's or RD's are any happier with their $1000 "bonus" than you are? Let the legislators, good old Charlie, and their do boys run the State with no back up from us peons (or is it peedons?) for a day.

What butters my biscuits is they're projecting a major budget shortfall based on a drastic cut in property taxes they haven't approved yet and likely won't. Bonus my a.s.s.!! If our representatives and govenor weren't so self serving they might recognize the fact they should be ashamed of themselves!!

If FHP has an epidemic on the 11th, who's going to be available to escort and protect Charlie and the house and senate that day? Tally may be a ghost town; if LEO's stay home everyone else might do best to follow suit.

If I made 80K + I could feel better about the joke "bonus". The state has billions on hand but none for us I guess. What a dang joke. :roll:
