CRT hits where they are told to hit. It's not their fault they aren't where the 29's are. Even the guys on the team want to quit doing the BS they're doing right now.

Thats what we need, a good crime wave. Perhaps then 5000 may realize how underappreciated we are. I doubt it, but wishful thinking has never harmed anyone.

Most of the 29s that have happened if you look happen BEFORE CRT comes into work. CRT is always down in sector 1 ask any of the sector 1 guys. Yes CRT does have to do the Palm sweep but that is early on the shift.

Look 29's will always happen. But even when there are more that does not matter. It is only when someone of importance or god forbid some young woman gets killed during a 29 that it becomes a problem. But when that happens and it does happen from time to time, the administration will put DB out there on adjusted shifts to save overtime and do other meaningless things. Those are the times someone has to go to the media and let them know how we are not able to do as much police work as we would like do to so many stupid and ignorant things they have us doing. But that will never happen in Hialeah and even if it does we are such a joke around the County that people will just dismiss us. Sorry but that is the truth. Things can happen in Hialeah that would make people get outraged some where else, but then they find out it was in Hialeah and they say oh things there are so messed up it does not matter anyway.

But to the real enemy which is Team "V". Team "V" has been recruiting and is arming himself for a new Offensive. Many analyst say it will be like the "Sierra Maestra" Offensive of 1956. This means it will be conducted in the shadows and will have maximum impact with minimal exposure. Be careful out there.

Team V's days are numbered, just watch.

The 29's have gotten out of control!! Victims are now getting shot at, I wonder what the city is going to do to protect the citizens. What has to happen for them to realize its not about ticket!!!!!!!!

What it has to happen? Wait until one of the victims is a relative of one of "them" and you'll see changes.....

Reference all the 26 to vehicles at the gas station nobody care, until the "right victim was hit"...... then they got all "DB UNITS" baby sitting gas station, eventhou they know all cases are backing up in DB and you know "THEY DONT CARE" and again, until one of the victims is a "RELATIVE" then they look at it!

What about “Action Plans”, where regular patrol officers get involved not just CRT. In my agency once some areas start to get hit, we start action plans that include plain & uniformed officers working in unmarked vehicles. I can’t say that they are always effective as far as catching the subjects but the extra presence discourage the perpetrators & they move to another area & the cycle starts all over.

[quote="10-4QRU"]What about “Action Plans?” Generally known as Saturation Patrol Initiatives, these operations are implemented pursuant to timely information provided by the department's Crime Analysis Unit, identifying crime trends by day of the week, time of the day and targeted locations. Armed with this data, platoon lieutenants, sergeants and police officers formulate an "Action Plan" to address these trends, using both overt and covert units. For best effect, participating units should be free from call handling responsibilities, and best yet, when undertaken as LETF funded operations on an overtime basis. This is not new, it just requires leadership and vision!

With little bone smokers like the TWINS (Bendamio) in specialized units what do you expect?? I used to take their lunch money away in high school....

The city doesn't care about us. We don't care about the city.
You get paid by the hour, not the arrest. The citizens get what they deserve. :(
