It's a good place to work, but they still incorporate the good ole boy system. With that comes with the power to be a real cop with the ability to chase for any reason. The have a strong State Attorney as well. MCSO provides take home cars but you can't use them off-duty. Good pay and benefits as well. I'm not sure what you're looking for, but I hope this helps somewhat.

From what I hear they are not very good. However they just went PBA so maybe there will be some changes.

I was unable to qualify with their HOSU
