Is your agency changing the uniform ie. long sleeve shirt and patch?

Uncomfortable uniform it is.

Wear short sleeves March through October we do.

Tells the public who we are, our patch does. No need to change it.

Our uniform is old and outdated. We wear cheap polyseter pants like every other agency in Florida and crappy poly blend shirts that dont breath well in the heat. White is an old color for uniforms in Pinellas. Long ago almost every agency in Pinellas County wore white uniform shirts. Its time to change. When one of us gets shot because of the lightbulb we wear the agency will change from being sued. Hell its not like every other unit isnt wearing grey or black anyway, why does patrol get screwed?
