I heard the Sheriff only got 2.5 million for the money he requested for laptops. Is he up in Tallahassee with the Governor requesting more?

I heard the Sheriff only got 2.5 million for the money he requested for laptops. Is he up in Tallahassee with the Governor requesting more?

The 2.6 million is for the cars. The money for the computers is already saved and put away. The reason he was requesting more money because he wanted to get everything in the car right away. This includes cameras, printers, ticket printers, license scanners and so forth. All computers will be in the car by September 2007. Look for an all user E-mail shortly showing the updates.
