Starting salary? What about equivalency?

What is your current starting salary at PCSO?

Does the S.O. give equivalency pay? My husband has been a p.o. for several years in-state.

Okay, are you using "P.O." as an abreviation for Police Officer or Probation Officer? This would make a world of deifference. The number for Human Resources is 727-847-5878 extension 7233, that would be the place to find your answers. If you haven't noticed this site will just return sarcasm.

It appears that there is a waiting list for LE deputy, since it is not listed, but the pay is the same as detention deputy.

The previous poster is correct. There is a lot of sarcasm on this site, but that is the minority. Most employees are proud of the agency and would highly recommend it. We have MANY sons and daughters and other relatives of our members working here!
