A few questions..

Why are we not having our moderately reliable radios installed in our new patrol vehicles? Our hand-held radios barely work within our own police station. You expect us to be able to transmit/receive traffic within the Lucky Street or Winners Way garage? From within a tin-can, surrounded by concrete and steel girders? With inoperable radios?

Install SLRS. Sure. The company that Wheeler (director of emergency services, or whatever cushy job he slid his disgusting personality into) put the contract into because his friend is a co-founder and head of Harris (whom manufactures and runs "SLRS"). That does not work in urban environments. I'm glad to see the tribe approved of three million or more into a company so that Wheeler's buddy could profit and he could take some side-change. Thank you, tribe, for your oversight and profound knowledge of how to govern your own governmental functions. My life relies on one of two radio systems that do not work. THANK YOU for accomplishing this for me, and my coworkers, brothers, and sisters, in blue.

Also, for handing out promotions. Sergeant JM did nothing but complain about people who complained. And then was promoted because he has a mustache, or something of that matter. And continued to complain. You did good by your standards in promoting him as he is a "yes man" and will do as you say. None of the officers, service aides, or dispatch personnel that deal with him enjoy his presence or thank you for it. He is an egotistical sycophant, and that is the only reason any of us can see as the reason he was promoted.

You tell me I can leave if I want to. The door is open to walk on out, if I don't like something "then leave."

I'll tell you the truth. I've tried. Several departments. No one will hire me because of my "background at Seminole shows a lack of integrity" or they clam up the moment I mention my duration of time within SPD. You don't even have to black-ball us anymore. The department name alone is a black-ball because of what you have done to it. Your command staff.

The command staff that was despised, disgusted, revolted.. you brought them here because you knew they would do as you said, your do-men. Your yes-men. You brought them here and never once before have I seen such departmental morale as low as it is here. And you have the audacity to blame it on the Sergeants?

You dared to say the sergeants were to blame for low morale in the department.

How much do you distance yourself from responsibility? How low are you willing to go to ensure your paycheck at the cost of the psyche of the officers under your poor command, your command staff.. how little do they mean to you?

Each squad used to have a minimum of six people. Four or five in Hollywood, one or two in Coconut Creek.. now we can't even back each other up on the road due to shortages. How have you fooled the council into believing you are running the department in a positive direction when road patrol cannot staff their own squads?



I will congratulate you. I have seen more people that have been promoted turn their back on their own statements, their convictions, promises, and beliefs, to satisfy you. Whether they fear their job or because they believe being that mindless sycophant will move them into a higher pay grade, congratulations. You turn men upon themselves and against their subordinates because they're too afraid to say "no." in fear of your name.

Right on. This Sgt Jm he is the one who belly ached about working paradise and was promoted right?. you got Lt DC who belly ached about working paradise and got promoted. You have officers who blatantly refused to work paradise(the midget from immokalee) and nothing was done. So instead I was mandated to work the paradise in his spot. Your tru unit is useless especially with cagney and lacey here in hollywood who seem they can't do an thing without being joined to each others hip .. And speaking of paradise, I'm glad to see that we have to please the security director and we have to make them happy. k9s are useless, IA is a joke, Homeland security sgt never leaves the station.And we are short, Ahh it doesn't matter we will hire the next batch of 6 retires and they will quit after 3 days.
