As of a few weeks ago the investigation was still open. At that time FDLE came back and re-interviewed and took additional statements. During the course of the investigation they uncovered some information that will lead to additional charges if it pans out. It seems there was more going on in the EP camp than just a mare raffle. According to one investigator Jim was very uncooperative. Instead of keeping focused on their investigation he kept going on about corruption in the current CCSO admin. They feigned interest and had to keep directing back to the investigation at hand. Jim walked away smiling thinking he set the FDLE loose on Cameron. They walked away with information that encouraged them to look a little deeper into EP. FDLE will be back in a few weeks after the election, but I would expect anything final for several months.
