Hey Einstein, we know that unions support certain candidates for political office. This is the way that they receive the backing of those politicians when contract negotiations come around. The FOP is the only union I am aware of that endorses politicians whovthen turn around and cut our salaries and slash our benefits. The FOP's plan is quite simple, in exchange for their endorsement, they go to those politicians and ask for personal favors that benefit a few such as appontments to Staff positions for their relatives and friends a La Junior and Orosa. You guys are so easy, it's pathetic.

You can whine all you want, because Armando knows that at the end of the day, he gets what he wants and you guys get crapola. Ha ha ha.

At last a sensible post,yes get rid of Armando ,Javi etc, but DON'T get rid of the FOP. Going to the PBA is foolish,and besides that, we all now know we will be spending THOUSANDS more for our insurance,and that in itself is totally ludicrous, like the insane ones that proposed that idiotic move No, keep the FOP, just TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE

The problem with the letter is that it is written by the former FOP attorney. The letter may be 100% accurate but the Exec Board has destroyed the credibility of the FOP and everyone associated with it. If you dont want the PBA then the writers here who are FOP supporters need to pressure the current board to step down. It is time for new leadership.

The move by Orosa to stop the PBA letters is just another plot with his buddy Armando. The Chief and FOP have displayed the side that they are on and it isnt the rank n file's, it is the Mayor's. The end is coming for the FOP and it is only because the Exec Board has crapped all over the membership.

If Miami FOP President Armando Aguilar did prevent the officers from receiving their mail he should be prosecuted. But iam sure as usual the event will be covered up because Armando has enough high rollers in his back pocket. Favors will be cashed in and skeletons that want to stay in the closet will be used for the cover up.

Wow, if Armando is willing to tamper with his own agency's mail, just think what he'd be willing to do at the state level. Of course, we all know why he was willing to tamper with the mail...if Armando can drag this out for another couple of months, he gets to run in the June 15th election for State FOP President. His own troops want him OUT OF THERE, so he has been stalling, delaying, changing lodge by-laws and making it nearly impossible for his own people to get rid of him...all in the name of his quest for the State Office.

Armando needs to spend a long time in prison for all he has done. He has raped and pillaged the Miami PD FOP for too long. He has made backroom deals to get his son promoted to the Chief's office at the expense of the FOP Members. He has done nothing but screw us all over.

Well FOP what is going on with the lawsuits that have been filed against the city? Fiscal Urgency????

92% occupancy of all condos that were built under a real mayor (Manny Diaz) which also gave us raises, not steal them from us.
