NPPD Still aGreat Place

I just wanted to let everyone know that NPPD is still a great place to work and I am greatful for all the great Men and Women I work with. Any type of Police work is tough and we all have critics out there so we all need to stick together. Once you put on the Blue, we are a Family and need to stick together. Have pride in your Department. I would like to say Congratulations to Lt. Arsenault and Sgt. Smith, you both deserve the positions and you will both do a great job. One last thing I am proud of CIB, You Detectives are Great keep up the good work.

I couldn't agree more (with most of what was said above). It is nice to see a positive post on here for once. It is just too bad that someone will shortly mess it up with a negative response to this. Every agency has their issues and overall NPPD is, in my opinion, the best agency in the area to work for.

I couldn't agree more!!! This is a great department to work for. While EVERY agency has their issues ours compared to others isnt bad. We have great equipment and the pay is decent. Sad part is - no matter where you go there will ALWAYS be people that you can't make happy no matter what. For those of you who hate it here the only thing I can tell you is RESIGN and let someone who actually wants the position apply for it.

I guess it isn't hard to figure out anymore who the boss is and the statement he wants to make with everybody based on the last couple of weeks, huh?

In case you haven't figured it out, he's been the boss for quite some time now. Guess it's easier for TL to let Vespia run the dept than actually doing the job himself. Vespia's not good at actual police work but he's great at looking over everyone's shoulder and telling them how things should be done. Doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground as far as actual police work goes, but hey, he's the boss, so he must know best. At least he thinks so. If someone doesn't remove him from the chief's chair soon, NPPD will be abolished and we will be stuck with SSO as our law enforcement agency.
