I am a certified LEO with three years of road time and live in Hillsborough. Does OCSO require deputies live within the county or can they live outside?

Re: Employee living requirementsNo residency requirement, however you are only eligible for a take home vehicle if you live within Orange, Seminole, Lake, Osceola, Volusia, Polk or Brevard counties and within 20 miles as the crow flies from Orange County.
Re: Employee living requirementsAnyone know if there is a way I can figure out if my home is within the 20 mile limit of the county line?
Re: Employee living requirements
Yeah drive from your house toward the nearest Orange County Line and watch the odometer.
Re: Employee living requirementslook at a map.
