GB A Good Place to Work

Wow! It's been so nice lately working at GB. A lot has happened and I wanted to thank all the decent officers who don't use LEO Affairs inappropriately for their personal miserable disgruntled behavior. GB has been very busy having some real successes lately. The training at the firearms range that was put on by the Captain was very good. We all had a good time and there was a lot of comradarie afterwards. It was great to get back to business and see smiles on everyones faces. The bridge incident proved that we have some realy talented people. There are truly only a couple of nasty disgruntled employees here but I guess there always will be no matter what you do or how well you treat them. As for the rest of us, we are GRATEFUL for what we have. There will always be challenges but things are constantly changing and so far the change is good. I encourage the GOOD positive officers from GB to post their thoughts on here. It's time we take back this department from the rotten apples that want to bring this place down.

Hello. I am a resident in Golden Beach and am very upset by what is going on. Me and my husband just came back from travel and we find out that our town manager got into trouble. We went to the commission meeting to talk to Mr. Singer and no one wanted to speak about it, not even Mr. Diaz. We even sent Mr. Singer email and he did not answer after he sent us email telling us to report this. This is very concerning. An officer we know send me this link and told me that I should send a message on here that people will listen. So I don’t know if this works but I will try.

Mr. Singer we live on the beach and are very upset what is going on in Golden Beach. We have lived here for many years and mind our own business but this makes me upset. Please do not ignore us because we pay a lot of money in our taxes. We want an explanation what is going on? Please do not ignore your residents when we take time to speak to you or email you.

First, stay off this site because it’s not intended for the use of residents. Second, you’re not a resident that lives on the beach because if you were, you grammar would be better as most people with your kind of money have a first-class education. Thirdly, when referring to Mr. Singer, he should be addressed as Mayor Singer or Mr. Mayor. And lastly, If you want information on anything pertaining to Town business, make an official request. As for Mr. Diaz's personal life, it’s not your business as it didn’t happen on town time and its had no impact on his ability to run the town. We have put it behind us so put it behind you. As Walt Disney said, “Keep moving forward”.

Dear Concerned Resident last time I checked this was still a free country where in fact you can voice your opinion. So yes feel free to respond and ask questions on this site. As for the individual that stating you can't, he is one of the Golden Beach p o's that stands behind the fact that one of the Golden Beach police officers' allow me to correct myself the Lt. that was arrested. The town and admin are infact condoning it and the Chief tends to think this is tolerable behavior for a Lt. You can gather further information on this arrest and any by going to Channel 4 or just googling it.
Being a Golden beach resident you do have certain expectations of your Town and of your police force that are suppose to be protecting you. I would be concerned justifiably, if the force that is suppose to be protecting me are in fact employed criminals or unethical officers. (Not all the officers are unethical or criminals). There are some of us who are performing our job to the best of our ability by protecting you and your property. But remember, we can only do the best we can by following the examples of our admin. If you want answers, you may suggest to the golden beach residents to attend council meetings and voice your opinions. Does the beautification project justify bad behavior on the parts of our Town Manager? This behavior has not been forgotten. More like swept under the rug. Your police department is now in turmoil. You have every right to request answers.

Also about your records request. Anything you wish from the town needs to be well documented on your part. If you google Florida State Statute chapter 119 public records, it will state the town has to respond within a reasonable time frame. If they fail to do so, it is a criminal violation. Per state law they must respond. Then again they are following presidence.

Hmmm I wonder what the reason is Paez doesn't do an activity sheet. Hmmm, no stats since he has been employed. Not a single ticket in 2009. Now what a productive supervisor.
