Agreed. IF it is true and not just run-of-the-mill LEO AFFAIRS B.S. That recruit should file a report with Gadsden S.O. He won't be a trooper, but he'll probably have the equivalent of 3-4 years of Trooper pay (as a result of the settlement) to figure out something else to do. Whatever happens, I hope FHP I.G doesn't investigate!

Good, I hope this is true. They should've done that more often maybe it would have thinned out alot of you cry babies! We have enough screw ups as it is. He should have been tazed then fired for sleeping in class.
But I was just sleeping. Thats why feel asleep and killed some one, while driving home.

That was complete abuse of Lt. Dans authority. The tazer can be a deadly weapon and to use it in the manner Lt. Dan used it should be cause for his immediate termination.

I remember those days of scarfing down a plate of Franks fried mullet and then back to the classroom. They issued out some of those hand exercise devices to build up our hand strength for the range back in the .357 magnum days. You'd look around the room and half the class was using them to keep their heads propped up so you couldn't tell they were out like a light. To make matter worse, they had the legal guy (Judson Chapman) from the Kirkman Building out and he'd drone in his monotone voice. It was MURDER. I can't fault the recruit for nodding off.
