Support each other and stop the issues

[It can happen to you]

As you all are now aware, that one of our fellow officers is dealing with a tragic life altering experience. His daughter was involved in a serious traffic crash and is fighting for her life. The prognosis does not look good and support and prayers are needed.
But, the reason I bring this to your attention is that this can happen to any one of us. What was truly amazing, is that all the things that have been happening at our agency is really nothing compared to the tragic things or events that can happen in our lives. I say this because I witnessed all feelings about work issues put aside and many of us showed up, some on a daily basis at Delray Medical to support one of our own.

So my question is simple. Why can’t we continue to be one and move forward? We all have jobs, we make a good living, and we work in a great city.

I pray along with many others for the speedy recovery of this innocent child and family who are enduring the feeling of pain and the unsure outcome of what will be. I also hope that we can continue to support each other in the days to come.

I have to say that officers and civillians of the Coconut Creek Police Department are stepping up with awesome donations for Sabrine. Its so nice to see that no matter the situation, we can come together to help our own!!!
