1. Morgan does not 'dictate' what people can and can not know, nor the hours that access is allowed....those terms are 'dictated' by FSS 119, a Florida Statute - and we all know how Florida Statutes confuse you GEDers.
2. Most State agencies do not have weekend call PIOs for emergencies, and no other State agency disseminates public documents on weekends, so you are both stupid and a liar.
3. Next time you, or Shannon, get a record from the School Board or the BOCC on a Sunday give me a call and I'll have the REAL press cover the story....

In the last 30+ years, the best term of our last 5 Sheriffs was their first term.

Johnson's first term was dismal failure no way he was going to be elected to a second term.

Seely brought a marked improvement to the S/O during his first term, but couldnt control his ego during the second term and his drinking and driving ended his career.

Lowman had a very good first term, but couldnt control his "Majors" during the second term and the number of shootings by SCU killed any chance of a third term.

McNesby did a decent job his first term, but like the others couldnt control his ego or his friends assigned to high places. His scandels cost him a chance at a third term. The lies told by Morgan during the campaign didnt help.

Bring on Morgan. He cant control his ego during his first term. Based on the actions of all re-elected Sheriffs, no one in Escambia should give this guy an opportunity for a second term. The second term always proves to be a downfall to voters.

I remember part of Morgan's campaign rhetoric where he stated there was no need to re-invent the wheel. Escambia County just needed to implement the actions that proved beneficial in other L/E agencies that reduced crime. Numerous studies were available to show what worked and what didnt.

After three years, what do you see under a Morgan administration? Higher crime rates. No new programs to combat crime. Utilizes the same tactics and programs implemented under McNesby.

There is way too much wrong with the leadership at the S/O under Morgan. I chuckle at the number of mis-statements (if not lies) in his youtube campaign videos taking credit for things implemented prior to Morgan election and in knowing the real results of his blind promotion process. Can it truely be blind promotional process when those proctoring the test know you on a first name basis? Or if those interviewing you know you on a first name basis?

Ever met the wiz kid who had booksmarts but had the inability to translate booksmarts into actual performance? Just because someone scored high on a written test doesnt mean they have leadership qualities. Its comical to see how quickly shift leaders are rejected for transfer to speciality assignments because they lack the leadership needed to direct the daily duties. These extremely weak OIC's only survice as they have some strong AOIC Sergeants who carry the shifts. Yep, Morgan has righted the ship and things are so much better under his admin - NOT!!!!!!

John Powell may not be the greatest choice in this election, but he is a better choice then Morgan and the continued failure of the Morgan administration. I also agree in saving some tax dollars by not granting Morgan a second term and thereby earning another taxpayer funded pension for the rest of his life.

The FDLE doesn't supply documents on weekends or holidays, and I would argue that their jurisdiction far exceeds the ESOs.

The FHP doesn't supply reports on weekends and holidays, and their jurisdiction far exceeds ESO's.

The Marine Patrol does not supply reports on weekends and their jurisdiction far excedds the ESO's.

And they all 'stop crime'.

Another lie. There have been numerous changes, including increasing the Neighborhood Watch program from 20 to over 90, generating community involvement and a transparency policy that restore community faith in the Department as the trash was weeded out.

The Florida Highway Patrol routinely and commonly issues press releases on accidents during the weekend to the media.

The Florida Division of Forestry routinely issues press releases during the weekend, especially concerning information on burn dangers and wildfires.

FDLE issues press releases of a "breaking" nature during the weekend, plus those senior silver alerts and missing children alerts.

The U.S. Marshals issue press releases on the weekend of a breaking nature.

The Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office releases press releases on the weekend.

The Walton County Sheriff's Office releases press releases on the weekend.

ECUA and other utilities release press releases on the weekend.

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office does not have any crime on the weekends, so there are no press releases from ECSO until sometime after a late breakfast and a meeting with the boss man on Monday.
