Commander's, Commander's, Commander's, you guy's are such a mess !!!!!!

Not a commander, just a retired 30 year Officer, that is sad to see what all of you are doing to the Department. The type of posts, the same couple of you write is counter productive, divisive, and usually has nothing to do with your great concern for the state of the department.

There is no attempt to do anything but tell the trueth, you, me and no person on here owns this public agency, you got it wrong 30 vet. It's corruption, mostly political, that has driven this Department for years and you if anyone should understand that. Go back and read the older posts, read the news paper, rely on your own eyes and ears and you can fomulate your own list of what is and has gone on. Now, the tone may be hard for your ears to take but there are many people that have felt this stuff up close and personal, perhaps in your 30+ years you have benifited from the very things we are discussing, but even so you would be hard pressed to be that far in denial. Some of us are stuck and are suffering now.
You want examples they are out there, read and your memory will return, good luck.

I guess I could buy that if I didn't know some of the people writing these posts. No doubt there are problems on the Department. But it is the same old material regurgitated, someone didn't get the assignment they wanted, or were tranferred from an assignment against their will, reduction in OT or didn't get the off duty job or post they wanted, didn't get the girl they wanted while the other guy or guys did, or didn't get the promotion they wanted or felt they should have gotten, so it is the always someone else's fault.

That's a pretty broad simplification, not really what's being referred to. There are up's and down's for everyone, and as far as chicks go, we know who had the problem there, I think.No,It''s a little more serious when those that are showered with power go after careers and utilize staff and organization to do that and then hide as if to say, who me, what happened? C'mon vet, we know that this does not apply to all just a large past and existing group that operates this way. We are in the process now of watching demotions and resignations of staff that were forced and embarrased into the decision. Perhaps some of today's group can improve so that we can do our jobs without this type of envirorment?? Pleae, maybe?? Let the new guy's try for a while.

DisGuested - Looks like you have been gone for too long, or drank too much of the kool-aid, my friend. I feel sad for you, that you are blind to true issues - that is part of the problem with your "old" department. And the people that are upset are still there so they KNOW what is going on, regardless of "not getting the assignment" they wanted. People like you keep problems like this under the carpet, and do NOTHING to help your fellow comrades, citizens, or department. Congratulations.

I am doing a research project for my school on this, any idea WHY they deleted her footage? I tried looking at the article and I don't think it says.

While doing your research please observe that thanks only to affirmative action you can find a middle age, overweight woman with a bucket on her head in this situation.
